I got code P0171 (Bank 1), it’s the 16 Premium WRX with 70,000 miles. I tried cleaning the MAF sensor just like in the video and Check engine light didn’t go off. Any advice?

I need to do this on my Octavia 245. The job looks an absolute ball ache. You have to do the pump at the same time. There is more oil in there and an oil screen that needs cleaned. After that, the thing needs electronic recalibration I think. I don't have the OBD stuff. I wouldn't trust a mechanic to do it correctly and not cut corners. I would need to stand over them to make sure they dont bullshit me.

Is your exhaust stock ??? I’m wondering if ECS or unitronic catback or stock gti exhaust mk7.5 fits with this ?

Our 2015 only has 40,000 miles on it, so figure it has another 10 years but a few things are starting to go - control arm bushings are getting dry and cracked, not a lot of wobble yet, but the garage wanted $1100 bucks to replace two of them, and I got the pair from Rock Auto for ~$200 bucks. A few hours in the garage and done. Thanks again!

I had a 2013 GTI. I loved it until about 120K miles started have problems. Now I have a 2024 GOLF R. I have 034 Motorsports Stage 1 low torque 93 octane. I think I'll wait a year or two before going to stage 2.

Dude I have a great idea for the muffler. You could make a table out of it with epoxy. Just make the table and put that on top and epoxy it so you have it encapsulated in epoxy. Lots of work but I’m sure it would look awesome.
